What is the correct torque for a Roosa Master nozzle nut?
The correct torque for a Roosa Master (Stanadyne) nozzle nut depends on the specific injector model:
Pencil Injectors: The nozzle (capsule) should be finger-tight on the body.
Hold-down Nut: The nut that secures the injector to the engine is typically torqued to 105 lb-in (approximately 8.75 ft-lb).
Injection Pump Drive Hub: For related service on the Roosa Master D series pump, the drive hub retaining screw requires 45 ft-lb.
